Well, I’m not sure how half a year has passed since I last posted. It doesn’t feel like that long ago. Maybe time truly does fly when you’re having fun.
And I’m sure I’m having fun (there might be a wee bit of sarcasm there). But it has been a busy year, so do I recap or just pick up from here? Maybe a bit of both.
Let’s start with social media. I tend to do the quick updates on Instagram under “JWSodypop”, a nickname that goes back many years. It’s just too easy to use IG rather than writing a blog post.
And that has me thinking….. do I keep blogging? Do I keep a full website when I don’t update it? Do I try to schedule blogging time?
At this point, I have no answers. But I haven’t dropped off the face of the earth, nor have I been abducted by aliens. I haven’t run away to a mountain cabin with no internet, nor set sail round the world.
What I have done is continue to quilt, and knit and cross stitch. I’ve continued to garden and raise chickens. I still have dogs and cats and a rabbit. I just haven’t updated here.
One thing I can comment on, my phrase for the year “use it or lose it” has been going well. It’s helped me to focus on doing the things I truly enjoy and discarding the clutter of things I no longer enjoy.
Maybe I’ll try to blog a bit more. It is nice to have as a reference to look back on………then again “use it or lose it”…….. I just don’t know. I’m not even sure this blog reaches anyone anymore.
