First up is a needlepoint that a friend was working on before she passed away. She had it 95% completed. There were only small areas of fill to finish.

I’ve contacted her brother and am waiting to hear back if he wants it.
I also finished one of the cross stitch patterns that I’ve been stitching on. This was a fun stitch!

And I finished a hat I’ve been working on. Now to mail it off to the recipient.

But what’s really been taking a lot of time is house decorating for the season. I don’t do a lot of socializing or baking at this time of year, but I love to decorate.
I love remembering where the ornaments came from. I love the childhood memories. And I love the soft gentle lights during these long winter nights.

The only room in the house that isn’t decorated is the office! I truly love decorating!
Wow!! You have been busy!! Sweet..
Beautiful! I’m sorry for the loss of your friend as well. Miss you.
Miss you too!
Wow!! You really have gone all-out! I used to be the Queen of Christmas but I’ve downsized over the years. This year I didn’t really do much of anything because it would have all had to have been done in mid-October pre-surgery. I love the country style and feel of your decorations. Everything is beautiful 🙂
And I’ve only shown a portion of the decorations!!!! I truly do love holiday decorating.
