A few finishes

First up is a needlepoint that a friend was working on before she passed away. She had it 95% completed. There were only small areas of fill to finish.

I’ve contacted her brother and am waiting to hear back if he wants it.

I also finished one of the cross stitch patterns that I’ve been stitching on. This was a fun stitch!

And I finished a hat I’ve been working on. Now to mail it off to the recipient.

But what’s really been taking a lot of time is house decorating for the season. I don’t do a lot of socializing or baking at this time of year, but I love to decorate.

I love remembering where the ornaments came from. I love the childhood memories. And I love the soft gentle lights during these long winter nights.

The only room in the house that isn’t decorated is the office! I truly love decorating!

  1. Wow!! You really have gone all-out! I used to be the Queen of Christmas but I’ve downsized over the years. This year I didn’t really do much of anything because it would have all had to have been done in mid-October pre-surgery. I love the country style and feel of your decorations. Everything is beautiful 🙂
