First I have to ask……………
HOW DID IT GET TO BE DECEMBER 7TH ALREADY?!?!?!?!
Okay, now that’s out of my system, let’s get to the needles.
It’s been a week of super-long workdays (10-12 hour days), so I haven’t gotten much knitting done this week. And last week all my free-time was spent sewing Christmas gifts.
I did manage to get one winter hat knit and a second well on it’s way:
And as I’m participating in a Winter TDF style spin for 12 days, I got my 12 minutes of spinning in almost every day:
And that’s ALL I got done! Perhaps next week, after things settle down at work, I’ll get more knitting time in! I surely hope so as I want to get my current shawl done so I can use it and I want to get started on my Craftsy class for the “Top Down Icelandic Sweater”. I’ve not done a top-down, knit in the round, steek it sweater before! Here’s the yarn I plan to use:
Please ignore the flash glare, I really don’t want to take these light colored yarns out of the protective plastic until I’m ready to start the sweater. Especially with everything going on here lately!
Very pretty colors for your Icelandic sweater. Looks so cool and WARM — ha ha that sounds like an oxymoron doesn’t it.?
LOL An oxymoron a knitter would understand! ;>)
Steeking? You brave woman! Great colors; it should be beautiful!
