Another month, another pair of socks completed! Yeah, I’m staying on track with the commitment! I CAN actually knit a pair of socks in a month! LOL That’s a major accomplishment for me, as those of you who know me know I don’t sit still for long.
Here’s my February YOSS Plain Vanilla Socks……
Yes, that is my Cocoa Shredder in the background. With her nose just inches from those socks! Sigh……. she does love anything yarn, fabric, thread, stuffed, chewable. Well, except shoes……she has not yet started chewing on shoes. Who said they only chew when they’re puppies? ;>)
Of course she has had ample temptations to get into trouble lately, as I’ve started learning to spin yarn from roving. I haven’t progressed very far, this was my first somewhat successful session (my very first session left me almost in tears!)……..
On the quilting front it’s been mostly customer overall quilting lately. Although today I will finish a very bright cheerful orange quilt that is making me smile every time I look at it.
On the mixed media front, it’s simmering right now. I have a few pieces in progress, I know where I think I want to go with them, but I’m in the contemplation stage.
And then there’s the gardening……but not quite yet, it’s still a little too cold here for that………………..
Wow!! You have been busy!!! It all looks wonderful!!!
Love your socks. Love your Roving to Yarn project. Love your Cocoa. Strike while the iron is HOT!
Have you ever seen Finding Nemo? A parody of sorts just for you…”Just keep spinning, just keep spinning, just keep spinning, spinning, spinning.”
You told me we charge extra for the lumps.
(You have fallen into my evil plan of global yarnization!!!! Mwahahahahaha!!!!!)
