Troubles today with my machine. Over a half hour of trouble!!! Tore it apart, cleaned, tried to stitch, it jammed. Cleaned again, it jammed. Tried again, it jammed. Got frustrated, cleaned again with the air compressor….it jammed. Finally after over a half hour I found the culprit!!!!!
Yes, that TINY FLECK OF LINT was the culprit the entire time! It was stuck up inside the bobbin case, by the lip, just under the edge of the backlash spring and I had to dig it out with that pin!
Finally pretty stitches and no jamming! Who knew such a tiny little thing could cause so much trouble!
Ah well, at least I had a pretty view out the studio door today:
1 thought on “So much trouble for such a little thing!”
I have been there, and done that. I hate tension problems. Glad you figured it out!
