After following Judy L.’s blog for quite a while now, and being inspired by how much she accomplishes on her projects, I have decided to join the “Design Wall Monday” posts. I think this will be a good thing for me, at least I’m hoping it will be a good thing and not add pressure to my schedule. I really enjoy piecing, but find I don’t often make the time to piece my own quilts; if I have to post my progress every week, I’ll be more inclined to take the time to do it!
Of course my first step was to FIND my design wall. I have a bad habit of hanging things over it that don’t belong there. It truly is under this mess somewhere:
Yes, underneath that completed quilt, and that class sample, and those waiting to be quilted quilts of mine, IS a design wall.
Once I cleared away (and put away) what had gathered there, I found my design wall underneath:
Now that I’ve uncovered this project, I’m looking forward to getting back to work on it. Fifteen minutes a day and I can have one block made every week, right?
Ooohhh… I’m going to like this one!
You should be inspired just from looking at this one!! I love the idea so far!!
I am going to like that one too. And I need a motivator to get my own things done as well. I come home from working full time and just PLOP. LOL I need to at least PLOP and PIECE! Good luck – I’ll be following your progress (and being envious!). LOL
Just trying to subscribe to your blog – should have done that in the last post! LOL
