Productively tired out!

Did you ever have a day where you’ve got a list, a to do list, a reasonable list, and you just check one thing before you start your list and your day totally changes? Was this a good change for you?

This morning, I had a list, a to do list of things to go get. But first I just wanted to check and see if the new spark plug was going to get the mower running or not. Because if not, I had to load it into the truck and take it to the repair shop when I went into town.
So, I changed the spark plug, and the mower started. Well, now before I go to town, let’s just run it a bit and make sure it’s going to run. And since I saw a snake again last week, let’s chop up some of the leaves while I’m running it. Give it a good work out, that was around 11 this morning.

Well that started the change of plans. Two and a half tanks of gas later, inside the fence by the gate looks like this: (when I started you couldn’t even see that row of rocks for the leaves and debris piled up!)

Although outside the fence still looks like this:

BUT, the other side of the pathway to Snowman’s kennel looks like this:

Although I still have to do this:

Oh, and I think we really need to get the chipper running now:

Did I mention this was all done with the push mower? I think I’m going to go mow the actual lawn now on the riding mower because my legs are all tired out!

  1. oh! you have a wood chipper? i’ve wanted one ever since seeing the movie “fargo”. 🙂 good jobs done even if your list went to crap!

  2. It’s probably a good thing I don’t own a wood chipper this week 😉 I can NOT believe you did all that with your push mower!! Go Judy!!
