Quilting for Carol

Carol is a dear friend of mine who ships her quilts to me to quilt for her. Boxes from Carol are always a pleasant surprise. In one box this summer I found a gorgeous top she wanted done.

Carol, I hope you like it!

Getting started:

Back detail view (every machine quilter I know loves to see the back), wish I had better lighting for an overall back shot:

And a front detail shot:

Machine Details: Quilters Dream Poly batting in the lightest loft available. Sew Fine White thread for background work, top and bobbin. Invisible thread for detail block work top, Sew Fine for bobbin.

One day I need to work on the lighting situation here. But if you’ve been wondering where I’ve been lately, now you know!
