This came up on one of my online lists. I played along, maybe you’d like to as well.
“Mischief is your middle name, but your first is friend. You are quite the prankster that loves to make other people laugh.”
Hmmm, is this really me?
So, what flower are you?
On the creative side, I haven’t given up on watercolor. Yesterday while I was at Michael’s Craft Store, I was browsing through some watercolor books. Last night I tried to use some of what I browsed to start another piece. This time I used watercolor paper (the base material DOES make a difference) and I decided to not try for distinct shaped, but just a feel of the scene. This is what I came up with:
I need to think these play pieces out a bit more. After I had this done, I started thinking a sailboat would work nicely in this, but now HOW to get the white of the sails when watercolors by nature are translucent? Since this is a play piece, I’m thinking of putting the sailboat in with a different medium, either oil or acrylic. More experimentation to follow.
